Employees of designated Clay County Departments handling protected healthcare
information are oriented to the HIPAA policies and procedures and are
required on an annual basis to participate in training that reviews these
practices. These designated departmental employees sign a Pledge of Confidentiality initially
as a condition of employment which is renewed annually.
