Public Notice:
Definition of "Level B" roads and "No Snow Removal" roads as used in Clay Co, IA
"Level B"
roads do not have snow removed all winter.
"No Snow Removal" roads may
be plowed when time permits after normal plowing operation are finished on the
regularly maintained roads. Having these reduced regular maintained roads
enables the Clay Co Secondary Roads to plow the regular maintained road in a day
after most storms. If you have any questions,

would like to remind property owners and owners of mobile homes of State tax
credits being available.
Who is Eligible for the Property Tax Credit? Iowa residents if total household
income is less than $20,427 and one of the following applies:
For Real Estate:

65 years of
age or older as of December 31, 2009
-
Totally
disabled and age 18 - 64, as of December 31, 2009
For Mobile homes:
-
23 years of
age or older as of December 31, 2009
Applications must be filed with your County Treasurer's Office by June 1, 2010
and are available on line or contact our office for further information.
